Using Clips to Cut Excess Footage

Click the toolbar arrow icon to switch to Blade

Cut

The current icon changes to Blade, click on the point in time you want to split, and the clip will be automatically cut in half

Shortcut Keys

Command-B: Cut the main storyline clip (or selected part) at the browse bar or playhead position

Shift-Command-B: cut all clips at the viewbar or playhead position

Command-X: cut the selected part

Option-Shift-X: cut the selected keyframe and its settings

Option-Shift-2: turn on video-only mode for multi-camera cutting and switching (cut/switch multi-camera video only)
